WWF Earth Hour

WWF Earth Hour

WWF Earth Hour is a global environmental event organized by the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF). Every year, people, businesses and cities around the world turn off their lights for an hour. This action is taken to draw attention to climate change and environmental protection issues and to raise awareness on these issues.

WWF Earth Hour is held every year on the last Saturday of March. The event has become a global movement and is supported by millions of people every year. Although turning off the lights is a symbolic action, this event increases awareness and emphasizes the importance of environmental protection measures.

The Earth Hour event provides an opportunity where people can not only reduce energy use for one hour, but also be inspired to make lasting environmental changes. It also provides a platform for environmental awareness and sustainability globally, supported by various organizations, institutions and governments.
