We care for our planet. Not just to say it but we have been integrating sustainable fashion for over 10 years. It all started as ethics and social compliance initiatives and went on to be something else. We have been sincerely pioneering sustainability with these aspects to further enhance our services and delivering ethical products.
In our understanding, ethical products do not only mean the use of sustainable raw materials. There are 8 aspects that should be taken into account;
- Raw material
- Environmental Management
- Ethical and Fair Working Conditions
- Carbon Emissions
- Circularity
- Traceability
- Supply chain management
- Digitalization
Without the integration of these 4 aspects, we believe that we cannot talk about sustainability. We can deliver on these on a scalable basis and can ensure that our products include these angles, on an all-in-one basis.
1. Abiteks scorecard verification (based on sustainability criteria) where every supplier is assessed.
2. Abiteks traceability vendor map (Abiteks can trace Tier 1,2 and 3 of suppliers for any given product) consisting of fabric, dye, yarn and accessories.
3. Carbon measurement software assistance. Abiteks can assess the carbon footprint of facilities and can perform Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) for singular products.
What does Sustainability mean to the World?
Sustainable products will be what promises that we can deliver a better world to generations to come. This understanding is essential in our belief. Currently textiles and apparel businesses are one of the contributors to carbon emissions in the world.
We believe this has to be changed since in the new world there should be better products, better services and a better planet.
We can deliver on sustainable products made with sustainable methodology through our Green Map Tool. This enables us to deliver our customers sustainable products instantly. Green Map Tool is a preliminary analysis we apply for all the manufacturers and suppliers we cooperate with. Here, we know the level of sensitivity of the manufacturers in our supply chain to the environment and people. Green Map is a tool that consists of suppliers, logistics partners and auditors that are solely focused on sustainability, therefore understanding the needs of our customers and responding quickly.
We pursue customized end to end supply chain and logistic solutions for our customers. Developing and operating responsible, sustainable and agile supply chains that meet the demands of our customers while improving way of working with our vendors.
